LOGOS Family Time At Maple Grove, we value youth and children. Therefore we have implemented what we believe to be the most excellent system of Christian nurture available today. It's called LOGOS - and it is probably the most unique thing about us. LOGOS is our midweek ministry of Christian nurture with youth, children, and families.

There is nothing like LOGOS - you actually have to see it to believe it! That's why we are always happy to have guests. Please be our guest any Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Plan to stay until 8:00 so you can participate in all four parts.

LOGOS is where everyone is treated as a Child of God. And even though it meets on Wednesday, it is not "just" a midweek program - it's the midweek component of our total program of Christian nurture.

Family Time at LOGOS

The four parts of LOGOS are

1. Bible Study
2. Worship Skills
3. Recreation/Play
4. Family Time

Recreation/Play LOGOS helps youth and children

	Grow in their understanding of the Bible
	Participate in Sunday worship
	Build trusting Christian relationships with others in our congregation
	Apply biblical principles to their everyday lives
	Be part of a loving, caring, peaceful church family every week

LOGOS is about Christian Relationships

We believe:

	That each individual person is unique, wonderful, and worthy of celebration and respect
	In the importance of building Christian relationships in a church
	That the most important event in our life together is corporate worship on Sunday mornings
	That LOGOS is not just about going to church - it is about your family becoming part of our church family

How it works: Everyone has fun at LOGOS

	Anyone may try it out by visiting as many as 3 times with no strings attached.
	After 3 visits, we ask you to make a commitment to the program and to our congregation. This includes worshiping the Lord with us on Sunday mornings.
	Families who are already part of another congregation may participate in LOGOS on Wednesdays under certain conditions.

It's also a time for serious reflection To Enroll in LOGOS:

1. At least one parent attends an enrollment meeting.
2. The fee is paid.
3. The parent participates in some meaningful way in the program.
